The majority of my journal is poetry... I write to keep myself out of my head... if you are a poet you know what I mean... but I post them for a far greater cathartic purpose... the wounds sting more when exposed... I'm not sure I get it and I've never had an "open letter" style journal before... but I have found this to be very healthy... I love poetry that is darker than anything I come up with... but I realized I would rather long to be "darker" than endure what it takes to get there The rest of my journal is just randomness... random thoughts that have caused me to ponder so in return, I post said thoughts to cause ya'll to ponder with me (or alone if that's the way you like it better... but I do like to watch)... random events which have either gotten me perplexed or enraged or both... and of course, there is the smattering of good news (like getting the new Opeth Album, or going to a concert or club) and from time to time I will critique CDs and movies... I am dark in my humour. My wit is sharp and sarcastic. My advice is real. I love deeply and intensely... and forever. I have a passion for all things Celtic... I have a fairly vast overview of knowledge on world myth and religion. And a love for Metal\m/ there ya go... Eric L. Snyder in a nutshell... enjoy! |
